Inti Creates is one of the premiere indie developers right now. They have an amazing history behind them, having created the Azure Striker Gunvolt series and having worked on Mega Man Zero and Mega Man ZX. They also created the amazing Bloodstained Curse of The Moon last year, perhaps the best classicvania type game in decades. With all of these successes behind them, its easy to see why so many were excited for their new IP Dragon Marked for Death. It is not exactly what some might expect but is a truly amazing experience.

You will pick from one of four classes and go at it in either single player or co op missions. The game can be played either way, but certain routes are only open to certain characters.  From the moment I booted up the game, I found it to be a blast. The action was fast paced and intense, and each character has a unique way of working. The Empress and Warrior and the attack first character while the Witch and Shinobi require more skill. Personally, I preferred the Shinobi as I found him to be the most fun. The warrior is a tank style character while the Empress is much faster but hits slower than the warrior. The Witch is the character I spent the least time with, but also takes the most time to learn. At the same time though, the Witch can be the most rewarding character of all.

The visuals were gorgeous, and I love that Inti Creates gave the ability to zoom out or in, depending on how you want the view of the character to be. The music is not the best I have seen from them, if I am speaking truth, but it is stull a very high-quality soundtrack.

Levels take the form of missions, and completing a mission unlocks both new missions, and the completed mission on a higher difficulty level. This adds immensely to the replay value of the game and I like that the levels have a lot of variety to them. Different missions that take place in the same levels, will have differences to them to keep things fresh as well.

Int creates clearly put in a lot of love to this product and it shows. This may be their finest work yet and considering what they have done in the past, that is quite the statement. My only issues were with the soundtrack as well as the character of the warrior not being so good for single player. Otherwise, this is a must play game and one you will not regret trying.
