Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is receiving a new major major update in January 2021, with the game adding a Classic Mode.
Classic Mode brings back old-school gameplay as you fight through five levels of demons and challenge Gebel's deadly bosses.

It is also worth noting that with previous updates for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the Switch received the update later than other platforms. But the Classic Mode patch will see “a simultaneous launch across more platforms, including Switch.”
