Earlier today, there were reports from The Edge Markets that claimed a new and more powerful version of the Switch is coming in 2021, and said their information came from people along the supply chain, Now Bloomberg has commented on the matter with their own reports.
According to Bloomberg, a new Switch is coming in 2021, and will include more powerful specs compared to the current Switch. Bloomberg also states that their information comes from ‘people familiar with the matter,’ and added that Nintendo considered improved processing power and 4K resolution support.
Lastly, Bloomberg says that both first-party and third-party software are in the works, and will focus on both casual and hardcore audiences. According to them, the new Switch is getting the lion’s share of Nintendo’s attention right now, which is why the first party software support for Switch in 2020 has been a bit slow.
