Taito has announced that Bubble Bobble 4 Friends will launch in November for PS4 in Japan,
The PlayStation 4 version includes a new area called “Skel-Monsta’s Counterattack” that includes 100 new stages and the invincible enemy Skel-Monsta from the first Bubble Bobble. Skel-Monsta will only appear in dedicated stages and cannot be defeated or trapped by bubbles, but will endlessly chase the player as they attempt to clear the stag.
The Switch version of the game shall receive a free update alongside the release of the PlayStation 4 version that adds the new area and various other new elements that are being added
