Bellevue, WA: Bungie has scheduled an upcoming maintenance window for Destiny 2 next weekend from Friday evening at 5:00 PM PST to Sunday at 11:00 PM PST. The company has declared this window of time “convenient” for Destiny 2 players and that it should not interrupt most players’ gaming time.
“Bungie is very concerned about minimizing the impact of our game maintenance time, which is why we chose the majority of the weekend to bring down our servers,” the company said in a press release.
According to the press release, the maintenance is for a few minor cosmetic issues for the game, and most Destiny 2 players will not notice any difference.
“I like that Bungie is really trying to minimize the impact on my Destiny 2 gaming,” said player, Laura Winter. “No ever plays on the weekend, so that’s the perfect time. I’m so glad they didn’t schedule the maintenance for an early morning on a weekday. That would really interfere with my playing.”
Bungie also stated that they plan on doing more Destiny 2 maintenance on weekends again in the future.
