One of the most influential games of all time is Castlevania, a game that has inspired countless developers with games based on the series, both Classic style and Post Symphony of the Night style, and one that catches attention immediately is 2nd Boss‘s Darkest Abyss. Dark Abyss is an homage to the Classic-style Castlevania games and features a whip-and-bow-wielding protagonist along with three other mystery to be revealed later. as they fight against demons in 2D locations that feature amazing pixel art. The game is still in active development but one developer Abdel Oliveira has been sharing a few progress videos on Twitter, including one showing a gigantic horse-shaped demon head chasing the player through a tense platforming stage filled with enemies.
