In 2006 the world received a sequel to Scarface in the form of the video game Scarface: The World is Yours. The game followed a what if? scenario where Tony survived the evens of the film and went on to rebuild his empire. The game was critically acclaimed and was one of the few games that followed GTA that GTA itself took ideas from, such as a crew you can keep track of through your phone, a ring-based notoriety system based on getting out of the law’s sight, and over the hood aiming. Despite the success of the game, there was no sequel made, although it turns out one was planned.

Concept art has emerged for the cancelled sequel that shows that this game would have taken place in Las Vegas instead of Miami like in the first game. See the screenshots below

The game was cancelled in 2009, and it is possible that the fact that many of the buildings on the Las Vegas strip are trademarked may have caused issues. Still, it would have been excellent to have a sequel to one of the most underrated movie tie-in games of all time.
