Destructoid spoke with Guilty Gear director and designer Daisuke Ishiwatari. recently and one of the questions asked posed the possibility of the series coming to Switch.
Ishiwatari responded that it might not be a “good match” as he feels there is a need for “high quality graphics.” That being said he also mentioned that Arc System Works ruled it out and is actually still working on that.
“That’s a really good question. One of the goals for Guilty Gear is achieving high quality graphics. Specifically on that point the Nintendo Switch might not be a good match, but that’s not our final conclusion. We’re still working on that.”
