Mythic Games has shown off a new image of the upcoming board game adaptation of Darkest Dungeon, that highlights the miniatures the game will be using. Mythic Games also announced that the board game will be receiving a Kickstarter later this Fall and fans can support the project that way.
Darkest Dungeon will be a campaign game, that will see you going into dungeons to battle monsters, cultists and so on using the miniatures. You will continually encounter deadlier foes and fight bosses before being entering the Darkest Dungeon and facing the final boss. As such, the board game will remain as faithful as can be to the video game, but changes will be made when and where they are necessary.
Mythic Games showed off the gameplay as well, which you can see below at the 30:15 point.
