Nintendo is not a company that people associate with PC gaming, but that may change if a datamine is correct.
Over on ResetEra, a user named MondoMega noted that Mario Kart Tour’s latest software update added support for a mouse to be used as an input method as seen in a datamine. After that, more evidence was found as well for a PC port. Namely text strings showed up that appear to hint at an upcoming Windows release for the game.
First the mouse support could be found here
Before anyone writes this off, further references to support for ‘native emulation’ showed up as well, and the Google Play Games for PC service is set to launch later this year, and that will make use of emulation for official PC releases of Google Play mobile titles.
Nothing is confirmed yet, but it is very likely that this will be Nintendo’s first big PC release.
