Cave and City Connection have released a new trailer for Deathsmiles I & II, coming to Xbox One, PS4 and Switch. It was also confirmed that the game will support English, Japanese, French, and Spanish language options.
It was also announced that there will be a collaboration with Cave-developed shoot ’em up RPG Gothic wa Mahou Otome for iOS and Android. The game will have DLC for “Additional Characters: Gothic wa Mahou Otome Five Girls Set” costing 2,970 yen that will let users play as Ranun, Cattleya, Souffle, Plumeria, and Rosalie in Deathsmiles and Deathsmiles Mega Black Label‘s “Ver 1.1” and “Normal” modes. Cave has tuned each girl for Deathsmiles, and has brought in new voice-overs and motions.
There will also be an extensive training mode and online leaderboards. Players will also have the option to set the conditions of the stage and character in detail, to make it easy for beginners to play, or give more advanced players a challenge. Each title and version will have separate online leaderboards.

Deathsmiles I & II will release physically and digitally for PlayStation 4 and Switch, and digitally for Xbox One on December 16 in Japan where it will cost 5,979 yen. In addition, A “Gothic wa Mahou Otome LOVE MAX EDITION” will be offered for 9,979 yen, which includes the “Gothic wa Mahou Otome ‘Deathsmiles Respect Arrange’ Soundtrack CD” and the aforementioned Gothic wa Mahou Otome character downloadable content.
