Sony’s DRIVECLUB was supposed to be one of their launch titles for the PS4. Around the Playstation 4 launch it mysteriously disappeared with little explainantion other than it needed more work. Many were beginning to wonder if the game would ever see the light of day. Well, today Sony has released a new trailer for DRIVECLUB that includes a definitive release date.

And there you have it. DRIVECLUB will be released on October 7, 2014. The game is looking pretty good. I don’t know exactly what needed to still be worked on that required such a delay but hopefully it was for the best. We’ll be able to see if that was true in the fall.
