Some spoilers will be present here

Power Rangers Battle For The Grid released a few months ago and has been received relatively well, especially for the dlc content (both free and paid). There is a lot of content still being added and a lot of love is involved in each bit brought to the game. Here are just six characters, that we feel would be a good fit as dlc for the game.

………………

Dylan

Ranger Operator Series Black from Power Rangers RPM may seem like an odd pick but he is a rather unique character.  RPM established that the black ranger morpher was more powerful than the rest of the morphers and a special operator was needed. Dylan had a unique fighting style in the show and elements of RPM would work perfectly in BFTG. For instance, he could utilize runoff energy as an attack like in the show, and he could be a strong bruiser  character as well. Being the focus character of RPM, he makes the most sense to represent that series.

Master Org

This may be an odd choice but hear me out. I think Master Org would be a neat character to have in the game for what he could bring to the table. Not just energy blasts and his weapon but moreso his vines. They would make him a very unique character and offer a moveset that offers a lot of variety compared to the rangers themselves. He could utilize various snare mechanics to be a very technical character, and rewarding for those who put in the time to learn.

Adam Park

The second Mighty Morphin Black Ranger and the green Zeo ranger, Adam would be a good choice for the roster in any of his incarnations.  Adam as a character is a martial artist in the show and the game would do well to use him as a fast moving technical character for more advanced players. If using his Zeo incarnation, his unique weapons and abilities from that series would be excellent to incorporate,  and could help him stand out more.

Phantom Ranger

One of the most mysterious rangers, the Phantom Ranger would be a great pick because of his mystery and unique abilities. He was always a fan favourite and utilized unique weapons in his appearances that could be brought into BFTG very easily in terms of projectiles. He also has the power of invisibility which makes him stand out more. This isn’t even getting into his unique design, which is unlike any other ranger. A good character for ranged attacks as well as quick strikes, the Phantom Ranger is an ideal pick.

Titanium Ranger

The first ranger to be an entirely American creation, the Titanium Ranger is a fan favourite from Lightspeed Rescue.  In the show, he was strong enough to defeat all of the other rangers and had an amazing battleaxe weapon that turned into a rifle. As a character in Battle For The Grid, he would be the perfect high risk, high reward glass cannon character, to fit with  his story arc in the show. He could deal heavy damage at close range, use the axe rifle at long range, but would take heavy damage in turn. The Titanium Ranger theme would also be needed, because it was awesome

Heckyl

Heckyl was the most loved character from Power Rangers Dino Charge. He was a very different type of villain and was a breath of fresh air after a few seasons of bad villains. He was eventually turned back to the side of good, and in the comics became the Dark ranger. Heckyl could be a great addition to the game either as his standard self, as his evil half Snyde, or as the dark ranger. As Heckyl, he could use telekinesis and energy blasts as a keepaway character, while Snyde would use those for more of a rushdown approach. The dark ranger would use the boomerang he has for attacks and combos. Heckyl is the perfect character to bring to the game and fans would love it.

And there we are. Six great options for dlc. Who would you want to see in the game who isn’t there yet?
