The Nintendo Switch has seen massive success in the industry and we are seeing more developers bring their games to the system. There are games from all genres available on the system including RPGs, but what is needed now is a good dungeon crawler action RPG, and one is coming that will be an amazing fit: Victor Vran,
Victor Vran already played well on consoles, and the developers have made a point of saying how it was adapted well for the Switch. The game is very much like Diablo but plays more akin to Diablo II than Diablo III, which should have fans of that game interested. With the unique set up of the game, and the way classes are handled, Victor Vran has a world one will be able to get lost in for fours, and now can take on the go with them. The game will also have great co-op options on the Switch, making it perfect for people who want to play this genre with friends as well.
There is also the fact that Victor Vran is rather unique compared to other games in the genre. The game is a bit irreverent while also remaining true to what makes games like this amazing. There is a sense of humor that is missing in the genre, that is very welcome with this game. Having things like appearances by Lloyd Kaufman from Troma Entertainment appear, just somehow feels right and not out of place in any way.
Too many people only know of one or two games in the ARPG genre, and I am hoping that Victor Vran will open their eyes to new games and possibilities. As I said, taking the game on the go will make this a highly desirable version of the game. Playing for a few minutes here and there will show why the Switch is perfect for this style of game and why Victor Vran will be perfect for the Switch.
