The PlayStation 5 will be getting Final Fantasy XIV on May 25th, alongside the launch on patch 5.55 on May 25.
Final Fantasy XIV on PlayStation 5 will feature faster load times, 4K resolution support, high-resolution user interface, as well as DualSense wireless controller haptic feedback support. There will also be new trophies available as well as 3D audio support, and is currently in open beta.
Patch 5.5 will introduce the second part of the “Death Unto Dawn” main scenario and also updates to the “Save the Queen” questline, the “YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse” epilogue quests, and gives a reward for collecting all Triple Triad cards.
