We previously reported how Rosen Law Firm was planning a classic action suit against CD Projekt on behalf of Investors. Now we know a bit more, and there are in fact 4 firms as of now that are planning to file suit against the publisher.
Daniel Ahmad gave some details on twitter, and noted that CD Projekt did in fact mislead investors as to the state of the game, by saying that the last gen versions of the game would be fine in talks with investors,
CDPR also admitted now to invested they did not show last gen footage previously as they had not finished that version when previews began.
Investors had been led to believe the game was in a complete state, but that was clearly not the case. Even with high sales, the amount of refunds has been an issue, as has Sony delisting the game. There is still a feeling of lost revenue and profit and a belief that CD Projekt hid the issues they knew were present.
We will keep you updated as the cases continue.
Rosen Law is just 1 of 4 law firms planning to file a lawsuit against CDPR
The argument being that the company mislead investors in a deceptive way about the quality of the game on last gen consoles, which led to recent negative impact, at the expense of the investing public https://t.co/cT3YSUKamy
