HAMSTER has been on a roll lately. Their arcade archives series has seen a release on all major platforms, and they have been bringing some amazing games to modern systems such as PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, including bringing Nintendo’s classic arcade games to the Switch.

A recent interview with Famitsu has revealed much more is in store. According to HAMSTER CEO Satoshi Hamada, the company has the goal of releasing 800 Arcade Archive games. For some perspective, there are currently around 50 Arcade Archive games on the Nintendo Switch. Hopefully this goal becomes a reality and more classics come. We particularly would love to see Sega’s arcade classics made available again.
