Sega has announced a new entry in the beloved light gun series House of the Dead. This new game will be called House of the Dead ~Scarlet Dawn and will be made using on Unreal Engine 4. It was also noted that the arcade cabinet will utilize a variety of gimmicks including an “Air Cannon” and “Vibration Seat” among others.
Sega will location test the game from 1/19 to 1/21, before evaluating for further steps to take.
A new House of the Dead game is very welcome at this time. It is a series that truly helps recapture the feeling of the arcades, We can only hope that it is as good as the last entry in the series was.
