A game that was recently released on the Nintendo Switch is Samurai Warrior and fans of a certain game noticed something right away. The game seems to reuse assets from the earlier title Samurai 2 Vengeance, including level layout and gameplay. The only real changes that seem to be made are the removal of gore and changed colours, and the story is not the same.
You can see some pictures below for a comparison.
For those unfamiliar, Samurai 2 Vengeance is a mobile game released back in 2010 by MadFinger Games and is a sequel to Samurai: Way of the Warrior. The game actually has a very high rating on the app store and received a good reception at the time.
Samurai Warrior developer Game Try has not commented on the situation but the similarities to Samurai 2 Vengeance are a little too much for our liking.
