After Nintendo announced that the Switch Online service will be updated next week with new games, we have learned that there are different plans for the west and Japan.
Western countries are getting Star Fox 2, Kirby Super Star, Super Punch-Out!!, and Breath of Fire II. However, Japan will not the get the latter two games or Crystalis and Journey to Silius, as those last two will be swapped out for Famicom Wars and Route-16.
Nintendo Switch Online’s service is region-free, and both the SNES and NES apps can be downloaded and played in different regions. This means you can play all of the games coming this month no matter the region.
