Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, and Bandai Namco collaborated on Pokken Tournament, first for Arcades then brought to Wii U. Nintendo and Bandai Namco then made the upgraded “DX” version for Switch, but there is no word on a sequel as of now That said, a sequel does not seem to be off the table.
Bandai Namco producer Katsuhiro Harada, who served as producer on Pokken Tournament, expressed interest in developing a sequel when asked by fans about a possible sequel. That said, Harada indicated that it would be the decision of Nintendo and The Pokemon Company if there is going to be a sequel.
