Iron Galaxy and Microsoft have released this video showing how they worked with the Nez Perce community of Lapwai, Idaho to create a new look for Thunder that is authentic to the tribe’s traditions and heritage. They discuss how working closely with the tribe was needed and we hear from the Nez Perce members, how the proper depiction of American Indians is important to the young members of the community.
The Legend of Thunder costume is a 100% authentic to the cultural traditions of the Nez Perce, developed through months of personal collaboration between the team at Microsoft Studios and the indigenous Nez Perce community of Lapwai, Idaho.
