Inti Creates has announced the next DLC for Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 will come in the form of the boss Kirin from Azure Striker 3, who will launch on April 7 for $3.99.
Kirin
She is a battle priestess from the world of Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 and was sent to another dimension. She has her “Radiant Fetters” ability that allows her to seal away various different powers, and specializes in fighting with her sword while throwing talismans imbued with her power. She is under the impression that Copen is involved with her enemy’s attack.
Attacks
—Three-Slash Combo
Kirin can perform a quick three-slash combo with her swordstaff after dashing at her enemy.
—Prison Blade
If locked onto while she grips her blade in its sheath, Kirin can perform a counter attack that sends Copen flying.
—Tsubaki Issen
This is an ultra high speed dash attack that even if Copen manages to dodge, Kirin can follow up by throwing a talisman.
—Rising Dragon
Rising Dragon sees Kirin performs a circular slash attack while jumping high in the air.
—Rakshasa Cleave
An attack that combines offense and defense as Kirin spins through the air, gripping her blade.
—Merciful Beheading
This attack follows up the Rakshasa Cleave and sees a number of swords spring up from the ground.
—Arc Chain
If Copen gets hit with a talisman, Kirin will follow up with a lightning speed attack.
—Starlight Prayer
This attack lets Kirin changes places with a thrown talismanin order to rush at Copen.
—88th Rite: Pale Mist
Kirin will move around the area at high speed, and leave behind powerful sword slashes.
—Sealing Talisman
This ability can be gained by defeating Kirin to earn this ability and will see Copen’s lock-on razors always leave enemies with at least 1 HP. They can then be finished off with an EX Weapon or skill to rack up score.
