Mario Kart 8 is unstoppable even now.
The latest data from the NPD has revealed that it is now the best-selling racing genre video game in U.S. history.
It is not clear if this means only the Switch version of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, or if the Wii U version is included as well. NPD doesn’t indicate whether that information only includes the Switch version, or the original Wii U version also.
Despite having come out years ago on the Switch, Mario Kart 8 deluxe still regularly places high on sales charts.
