Nintendo is bringing back the infamous mini-game, Tug o’ War for Mario Party Superstars after 20 years. This time though, Nintendo is giving a warning.

With the original Mario Party on N64, there were certain mini-games like Tug o’ War that caused issues for some players due to the controls. Players needed to quickly rotate the analog stick and many did so with their palms and needing up injuring their hands.  This resulted in the New York’s attorney general’s office received quite a number of complaints, forcing Nintendo of America to agree on a settlement.

With the mini-game’s return in Mario Party Superstars on Switch, Nintendo has put a warning on screen before the game starts that advises players to avoid rotating the control stick with the palm of their hand to protect themselves as well as the actual controller.
