In an update on Monster Hunter Rise, Capcom has confirmed that the slowdown issue caused by the friend list in the Monster Hunter Rise demo will be fixed when the game launches in full.
While we did not experience any issues ourselves during our play session, there were some claims that the game suffered severe lag issues. It has since been discovered that the slowdown was caused by having too many people on your friend list and creating a new user account would the issue.
Capcom has now officially discussed the issue and have themselves confirmed that the friend list is indeed the source of the problem that the demo had. Capcom noted to Famitsu that the issue will be resolved in the full version of Monster Hunter Rise.
