Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter Rise has shipped in excess of eight million units worldwide, based on combined sales of the Switch and PC versions. The Switch version launched last march, while the PC version was released this past week, meaning most of those sales have been on Switch.
Capcom has noted that the Monster Hunter series has shipped over 78 million units as of September 30, 2021.
