The 1996 release of Mortal Kombat Trilogy was a milestone for the series. It was a dream match game that brought together every playable character in the series up to that point, as well as many of the earlier games’ stages now in the Mortal Kombat 3 engine, but also included many new gameplay mechanics such as the dial-a-combo system. The game was a major influence on all Mortal Kombat fan games since then, but Mortal Kombat Trilogy has never been re-released since its original release, well until now that is.
Mortal Kombat Trilogy has received a new release on GOG.com and will cost $8.99, with the price going up to $9.99 after its sale period ends. This is presumably the PC version, so do not expect to see the female ninja Khameleon here, but the male ninja Chamelon will probably be there.
