NetherRealm Studios has announced that Mortal Kombat X mobile is getting a name update. With the release of Mortal Kombat 11 coming up, MK X is no longer the main game in the series. As such, the mobile game is getting a renaming.
Mortal Kombat X Mobile will be updated to simply be Mortal Kombat. The studio maintains this will remain the main Mortal Kombat game for mobile devices.
