New River City Ransom Password Found Decades Later

River City Ransom is an undisputed NES classic, and it seems the game just keeps on giving. A new developer password has been found decades after the initial release.

In the series “Cracking Videogame Passwords”  Bisqwit found a new password for the game that had gone unknown for years.

The code grants you max stats, and all technique books but also changes player 1’s name to Shin.This password uses the space character and is the only real password to do so.
