This new game is being developed by California and Virginia-based studio Question, best known for the experimental game-making satire The Magic Circle. who recently released the co-op horror game The Blackout Club. This news was revealed in a job listing from the company looking for a lead level designer, that also makes mention of the fact that the studio now includes individuals who worked on South Park: The Stick of Truth and the follow-up The Fractured But Hole.
The Magic Circle was hailed as a brilliant satire on game development, so it will be interesting to see what these developers can do with South Park and its satiric take on things. Interestingly, the job listing also mentioned that applicants should have multiplayer development experience. How this will be implemented, remains to be seen.
