While NieR Replicant Ver. 1.22474487139, has not seen a release on the Nintendo Switch, datamine results indicate that may change. The datamine info shared on Reddit notes that there are ‘NX’ presets buried in the game’s code, which refers to the original codename and development reference for Switch.
That being said however, the same dataminer noted in an update that they believe Switch work had been dropped or at least sidelined by the time the title got into the final stages of development. According to the the PC executable from launch that names the other platforms, no reference to ‘NX’ is made there.
Perhaps the game was intended for a Switch release, or still is down the line, and the info was simply hidden. Whatever the case, we will keep you updated.
