Eternal Darkness was a truly innovative game from Nintendo and Silicon Knights in 2002 that pushed boundaries and expectations for horror games. Nintendo hasn’t revisited the IP since then but have consistently renewed the trademark every chance they get. It has now come out that Nintendo has filed to extend the trademark for Eternal Darkness yet again. Normally this would not be anything special, but Nintendo did say to expect non traditional games from them in 2018…..could this be a sign of what to expect?
