Could Wario be making a return? Nintendo has filed new trademarks for what is listed as “downloadable videogame programs” in Japan. These include Dillon’s Dead-Heat Breakers, Luigi’s Mansion, Mario & Luigi, Metroid, Metroid Prime, Smash Bros. WarioWare and most interestingly Wario Land. We know that most of these franchises have some upcoming game besides Wario Land. Could Nintendo be looking to give Mario’s greedy counterpart his own platforming adventures again?
