When the N64 App came to Nintendo Switch as part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service, there were a lot of issues found with the games at the time, including input delay and texture improvements to some games. Ocarina of Time on Switch had issues with areas such as fog, draw distances, and water textures. Twitter user OatmealDome noted, however, that the Water Temple room has been fixed slightly to make it more aesthetically pleasing and closer to previous versions of the game.
While this is not a perfect fix and there are still improvements that could be made with the fog and water, it is a good start. That said, this is not the only improvement, as YouTuber Modern Vintage Gamer has found that the update also has reduced input lag, and it is now less problematic in some games, and hard to find in others. Modern Vintage Gamer then noted that in his previous input lag tests on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the game had around 5-6 frames of input lag, while the update has reduced it by about 1-2 frames.
