The N64 app on Nintendo Switch has been updated again with the release of The Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask, and just like last time, Nintendo has made updates to the emulation.
One major issue many had with the emulation on Switch before was the issues with textures, draw distance and fog in games like Ocarina of Time with the Water Temple, but this has been fixed with the recent update.
Looks like it’s fixed! Will be taking a fresh look at the NSO updates soon https://t.co/iodANMwQ0w

[Nintendo Switch Online – N64]
Version 2.0.0 is now available. There appear to be a bunch of game configuration updates which I will cover in another tweet.
Notably, however: the infamous Water Temple room is completely fixed, as the fog has been restored. pic.twitter.com/LdYX7t4lHS

Another issue involved Paper Mario, where a bug would cause the game would crash if you died with Watt as your partner. However, this has now been addressed and fixed, it’s finally been addressed.
Paper Mario also used to have a bug where if you died with Watt as your partner, it would crash the app, but now the bug has been patched! https://t.co/s8re1DByTw

It is very good to see that Nintendo has continued to improve the issues rather than leave them be.
