Nintendo has resolved the issues with Nintendo Switch firmware update, version 12.0.3 and everyone can access the upgrade once more.
Nintendo temporarily pulled the update after it first went live, when they found issues it caused.
Those who downloaded the update previously need do nothing more, and this should fic the problems people had with microSDXC cards over the last few days.
