Nintendo partnered with Nvidia for the tech in the Nintendo Switch system and it seems that the partnership is paying off for both.
Mitch Steves, an RBC Capital Markets analyst, estimated that Nvidia’s top line will likely see a boost of between $300-400 million in 2018 fiscal, due to royalties and other profits based off the Nintendo Switch having strong sales. This estimate is in part due to the fact that Nintendo is reportedly doubling production of the Switch this year.
Nvidia wanted a 20 year relationship with Nintendo. This is a good sign so far.
