While we at Real Otaku Gamer have decided not to comment on the recent Capcom leaks we do want to bring up an interesting bit of sales data that was also contained in the breach, namely including the performance of Okami HD.
While Okami HD was released on several platforms, it ended up selling best on the Switch, where it sold 600,000 copies.
The breakdown by platform is as follows:
Switch – 600,000
PC – 536,000
PS3 – 529,000
PS4 – 445,000
Xbox One – 121,000
What is notable is that Okami HD launched for Switch in August 2018, which was much later than all the other platforms, with PlayStation 3 in October 2012 & PS4/Xbox One/PC in December 2017.
