A new retro discovery has been made, as Dreamcast-Talk user ‘sreak’ revealed they had a Dreamcast development kit that they were going to export the files from. As the dumping commenced, something very interesting was found in the form of an early playable version of a game that was unknown until now, entitled The Simpsons: Bug Squad.
There is no information about the game online anywhere and the game seems to have been a well kept secret until now. The game is very different from the other games based on the long running series, and plays kind of like Toy Commander set inside the Simpsons house. The development team behind the game was Red Lemon Studios, whose unreleased game Take The Bullet was also found to have a beta on the same dev kit.
