Qubyte Games announced many new games during their QUByte Connect event.

 

Here is a recap of the news.

 

 

  • 171, an open-world action adventure game in the veins of Grand Theft Auto, is coming to consoles – including Xbox One Series X;
  • 99Vidas – Definitive Edition, formerly exclusive to Nintendo Switch, the ultimate version of the the retro Beat’em up inspired by the classics of the 16-bit era is now coming to PC, PS4 e Xbox One;
  • Breakers Collection is bringing the two cult classics of the fighting genre from Neo Geo and Arcades to home consoles;
  • Project Colonies: MARS 2120, the latest original IP from QUByte, had its very first gameplay trailer at display, showing there’s more to this metroidvania-style game than meets the eye.

QUByte Connect 2020, a digital event promoted by QUByte Interactive, Brazilian Game Developer and Publisher, took place this Tuesday (29).

Broadcast live by QUByte on their Youtube channel, the event revealed new information on multiple titles published by the company, including 171, 99Vidas – Definitive Edition,  Breakers Collection and many others.

171, an open-world action adventure game in the vein of Grand Theft Auto, is coming to consoles – including Xbox One Series X.

In partnership with developer Betagames Group, QUByte Interactive announced 171 is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Microsoft’s next generation console – Xbox Series X.

 

Set in the suburbs of a fictitious Brazilian community, 171 features typically Brazilian landscapes  and multiple gameplay mechanics such as vehicle tuning,ranged and melee combats and open world exploration.

 

 

 

 

99Vidas – Definitive Edition is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

QUByte Interactive announced that the Definitive Edition of 99Vidas, the retro-esque Beat’Em Up inspired by the classics of the 16-bit era, is coming soon to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Definitive Edition of the game is currently available on Nintendo Switch only.

 

99Vidas – Definitive Edition brings an extensive amount of additional content, such as new game modes, new enemies and stages, and all of those who already own the original version of the game on their platforms will get the upgrade free of charge.

 

 

 

QUByte announces a new feature for Breakers Collection: Online Mode.

QUByte Interactive and VISCO Corporation teamed up for another round of Arcade classics in the form of Breakers Collection. The game will feature both of the cult fighting games from the Neo Geo and arcades with additional content that aims to please both fans of the originals and newcomers alike.

Among the array of new content is the latest addition of an Online Mode, in which players will be able to test their skills on Breakers and Breakers Revenge against other competitors across the globe.

Breakers Collection arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One  in 2021.

During QUByte Connect 2020, the company took the opportunity to present the first gameplay trailer for Project Colonies: MARS 2120, their latest original intellectual property. The game, which will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox Series X, is a metroidvania that combines elements from classics of the genre such as free exploration,  non-linear progression, and adds a twist in the form of a mix of ranged and melee combat..

 

The event has also served as a stage for the announcement of the Nintendo Switch version of High Tech Racing Plus, or simply HTR+, a Slot Car Simulation game played by +10 Million since its original release on mobiles. The game is coming to Switch in early 2021.

 

Another mobile game making the move to consoles is WarDogs Red’s Return, a beat’em up developed by Mito Games in partnership with Red Nose. The game is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, featuring several gameplay and graphical improvements, with support for Full HD Resolution.
