In the recent Granzella Gathering live stream, Granzella announced remakes of turn-based strategy RPGs R-Type Tactics and R-Type Tactics II: Operation Bitter Chocolate, and the remakes will be available as a single release.
R-Type Tactics was first released for the PSP on September 20, 2007, in Japan, and released under the name R-Type Command in North America, and its original name in Europe. The sequel, R-Type Tactics II: Operation Bitter Chocolate launched for the PSP on December 10, 2009, in Japan, but never received a western release.
The remakes will include new elements though what these are was not revealed. Additionally, release dates and platforms were not announced either.
