The rumors are true! Microsoft has confirmed that Red Dead Redemption will be available to play on the Xbox One this Friday.
Back in February, Microsoft accidentally released the game as a backwards compatible title due to a testing error. This led Red Dead fans to believe the game would soon be available to play on the Xbox One.
All physical copies of the game will be ready to play on Friday – the base game, the expansion Undead Nightmare, and the Game of the Year edition.
Red Dead Redemption was published by Rockstar Games in 2010, and was considered to be one of the greatest releases that year.
As of today, the digital copy is for sale on the Xbox Live Marketplace for $7.49 for Gold members and $10.49 for everyone else.
