Devolver Digital and Terrible Toybox have announced Return to Monkey Island, a sequel to the Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge Z The game, made in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, will launch in 2022. This title will ignore all titles after Monkey Island 2 and present a new continuity, albeit with some characters and elements from the old continuity being brought over.
