So we all know that the Wii U hasn’t been doing as well as it was expected to, and is nowhere near on par with the sales of the Nintendo 3DS handheld system. As a fellow Nintendo fanatic myself, I of course own a Wii U and love it. I think the system is extremely underrated, and not taken as seriously as it should be. But in the midst of the turmoil over the Wii U, perhaps Nintendo already has their next move in check. According to a rumor, this might very well be the case. Someone quoted as a very reputable source, told NintendoNews.com that Nintendo was already working on its next gaming console. The rumor even has the specs of the alleged new system. This new system that has been rumored will be pretty new to the playing field, as it will be not only a home gaming console, but will double as a portable handheld gaming system. The supposed system, being called ‘Nintendo Fusion’ is said to be comprised of two parts, the Fusion DS (For portable use) and Fusion Terminal (For home use). The specs were stated as follows:

Now I must admit, these specs do sound pretty out there. But imagine in a few years, this will be totally doable for a big company like Nintendo. We also have to sit back and think though, the Wii U has only been out for a little over a year, and we’re already getting leaks of an all-new console from Nintendo? Makes this rumor seem even more unlikely. But then again, we can never be too sure. Who knows what Nintendo has up their sleeve, as they choose to stay pretty secretive of their plans until they are good and ready to share them with the world. Another tidbit of info that’s making this rumor seem even more legitimate, is the fact that Nintendo recently updated their web domain www.NintendoFusion.com, a website that was originally purchased by Nintendo for a rock concert tour they hosted back in 2003 called the Nintendo Fusion Tour. But here’s the thing…the website was updated just a mere couple of days ago, on January 21st, to be exact. Why continue to hang on to the web domain, and then just randomly update when the rock tour is all done and over with? Here is the information about the website after the recent update:
