Rooster Teeth has announced that RWBY Grimm Eclipse will be receiving ports on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox one on January 17th. The game is set between volumes 2 and 3 of the show and sees the player take control of Team RWBY (Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang) as they stop a new menace. DLC was later added to the Steam version nd will hopefully also be available here. The DLC made Team JNPR (Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha and Ren) playable. Gameplay is similar to the Musou games and there is a co-op mode available.
RWBY Grimm Eclipse began as a fan game, before receiving official support from Rooster Teeth and being made an officially licensed product. It was previously released on steam and hopefully will have a good life on PS4 and Xbox One. Maybe more DLC will be added.
