The Sakura Wars series from Sega and Red Companys has had very few localizations into English, with the only exceptions being 2010’s Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love for the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2, and the 2020 reboot for PlayStation 4. However, fans have decided not to let this stand and have been translating the games on their own, with Noah Steam and other fan translaters and hackers translating the first game into English in 2019, and now have been working on translating the second game in the series, ss Steam revealed this past weekend that a team had been translating Sakura Wars 2 ever since the Summer of 2021. Most of the translation is already done, and a trailer for the project has been released as well as a language patch for the game’s special edition demo.
