Sega Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Switch will have an addition not seen since the 16 bit days.
Weekly Famitsu has revealed that “Knuckles the Echidna in Sonic the Hedgehog 2,will happen in the Sega Ages release.”
This was a mode that was accessible in the original Sega Genesis/Mega Drive release if a Sonic & Knuckles cartridge was inserted on top of the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 cartridge using Lock-On Technology.
Sega Ages Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will have other additional features, “Super Sonic Mode,” online rankings, and more.
