Many are excited for the release of Sonic Origins is fast approaching, but many at the same time want there to be a physical version. Well, we now have a small update on if a physical release will actually happen. Sega of America’s social media manager, Katie Chrzanowski, spoke about this in a recent livestream and reiterated that a physical release currently isn’t planned right now. It is not all lost, however, as Sega is aware of the demand for a physical version.
There isn’t one planned at the moment, I have seen a lot of comments asking for one, so the team has been made aware of that, there is a want for a physical release.
Hopefully, Sega gives fans what they want at some point. It is important to remember as well, that Sonic Mania was digital-only at first, but received a physical version after some time passed.
