Hive, the Japanese subsidiary of Korean company Vespa, has announced that it has the Shining Force games from Sega, and will be releasing a strategy RPG entitled Shining Force: Hikari to Yami no Eiyuu (Heroes of Light and Darkness) for mobile that will launch in the first half of 2022 worldwide. The game will be a free-to-play title with item-based in-app purchases.
No specific territories were not announced, but the licensing includes the rights to distribute games in Japan, South Korea, and other Asian countries, as well as North America and Europe.
